KIDZ in SPACE

Set against the electric backdrop of early 1980s glam rock, KIDZ IN SPACE follows five gifted high school outsiders who refuse to accept the limits placed on them by the world around them.  

When Jeremiah Jones aka JJ - the natural leader of his crew, still grieving the sudden loss of his father, has a powerful dream revealing a mystical place in "The Stars" where they can be reunited, he becomes unwavering in his mission: build a rocket and get there. Joined by Dayla Webb, whose emotional intelligence and fierce belief in him anchors the group; Niles, a brilliantly logical computer mind with a quirky edge; and Samantha aka Sam, a fearless genius builder of anything mechanical, and Yoshi, the video game master punk rocker who “acquires” top-secret equipment from her astrophysicist mother, the team sets out to do the impossible.  

But when JJ’s younger brother, Elijah, surprises them with his courage and depth of wisdom, their journey makes an unpredictable shift.  

Guided (and sometimes hindered) by their eccentric science teacher, Mr. Eyerbatch (aka Dr Eye), the crew must navigate not only the technical challenges of space travel, but the emotional terrain of loss, belief, and growing up in an uncertain world.  

Blending humor, heart, and a driving pop and glam rock score, KIDZ IN SPACE is a story about grief transformed into purpose, the power of friendship, and the radical act of believing in a dream - even when the world says it’s impossible!
